Have you ever wanted to do something but ended up chickening out? Maybe you wanted to write a book or start a business or move out of the country. It’s easier to stick to what’s familiar. It’s comfortable. But who are you helping? Definitely not yourself and not anyone else either. That’s the problem. You’re carrying a gift inside of you that you refuse to share because of fear or doubt. But what you don’t realize is there are people out there who are waiting on you. Yes you, to share your gifts and talents. Sure there are many singers, songwriters, entrepreneurs, authors and all of that but no one can do it like you can. What you bring to the table is totally different and much needed.

Stop doubting yourself and comparing yourself to other people. “I wish I was as good as them.” “I could never do that.” “Is anyone going to even like this or buy this?” Stop putting yourself in a box. You don’t belong there. God gave you those gifts and dreams for a reason and it wasn’t to keep it to yourself. It was so you could share your light with the rest of the world. Don’t dim your light because of what other people might say. It’s never too late to start. There’s no specific age you have to be to follow your dreams. There’s no such thing as being too old. You have the choice to work on your dreams now and find joy in that or keep working your 9-5 and be unhappy. Which one will you choose?
